FDNY Engine 293 Following Engine 257
Old FDNY Mack CF Engine 293 following FDNY 97' Seagrave Engine 257 to the starting point in Alliance's Firemans Festival parade. I was fortunate enough to ride the Boss's seat in 293 to the starting point and through the parade. Engine 293 responded on 9/11 to the WTC, and was found still running after the collapse, and was used pumping 1000 GPM for several weeks after. Engine 257 responded from Brooklyn to WTC 7, and operated at building 7, and then helped with the search of WTC 2 collapse zone. 8 firefighters from E257 L170 B58 were on hand to pay tribute to all their lost brothers during the Hall of Fame parade, and also during the Carnation Festival. The members also visited several local firehouses. We are hoping that members are able to join us next year. Thanks to all the Brothers in the FDNY for joining us, Stay Safe Guys!!!
