When you register on the Firefighter-Directory.com website, you become a member and you can connect to your account using your login and password. Once you are connected, you will see a new menu on the left side with new options. In order to propose your Fire Department website or any Firefighting related website, you just have to click on 'Create content' and choose the option 'Website Screenshot node'. Then you just have to fill the form to register your website in our Directory.
- Title is the field for the name of your website (i.e. 'Sylvania Fire Department', please do not use uppercase for all letters)
- States: just choose your State
- Body: this is the description of your website. Ideally, the description should be at least 10 lines. Please do not put links in your description (body) because we already provide 2 links to your website via the url and the image. We allow links for other types of content, that is the reason why we do not disable the function.
- Url is the address of your website (i.e. http://www.mywebsite.com). Make sure your provide the correct URL since it is also used to create screenshot image of your website. Don't worry if you do not see the image as soon as you register your website, it takes a while to be created automatically.
You can Preview your website registration and then Save it.
